WindandSea Lodge is a wonderful self-catering holiday home with stunning panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Tory Island. This is a little piece of paradise surrounded by rolling countryside with spectacular sunset views every evening.
The holiday home is very spacious with 4 bedrooms to sleep 8 people comfortably. The Master Bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom with separate shower and a king size bed. There is a twin bedroom and small bathroom also on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two other double bedrooms and a bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower.
This beautiful holiday home is located in one of the most sought after locations in the area because of the breathtaking sunset views every evening. It is only a 4 minute drive from the village of Dunfanaghy and sits on an elevated site with a large garden, catching sunlight all day long.
The area around Dunfanaghy has a multitude of long, golden, sandy beaches. Killahoey and Marble Hill beach are very close to the home and Tramore beach is worth the 30 minute walk over the dunes. The majestic mountains of Muckish and Errigal are within sight and the terrain is fantastic for hill-walkers and cyclists. Ards Forest and Glenveagh National Park with its birds of prey, are on your doorstep and a visit to the famous Glenveagh Castle is a must.
There is so much to see and do in the local area, surfing, canoeing, horse-riding, fishing, nature trails and there is a great selection of restaurants and pubs and excellent live music most weekends. Don't miss the Dunfanaghy Jazz and Blues Festival in early September.
