Resting at the foot of Benbulben and Benwhisken Mountains, Cliffoney overlooks Donegal Bay and Mullaghmore harbour. The lakes and rivers of this area are plentiful with fish and favilities exist for scuba diving, surfing and pony trekking.

Bunduff Marsh and Wildlife sanctuary is well worth a visit.
