Comeragh View Lodge is a stunning luxury holiday home with fabulous panoramic views of the Comeragh Mountains, located only 5 minutes from the pretty village of Kilmacthomas on the banks of the River Mahon.
The Lodge is a newly built bungalow, opening its doors to you for the first time this summer. It is very spacious with 5 large bedrooms to sleep 14 people comfortably. The contemporary open plan kitchen is huge, a great family space. There is a breakfast bar, a large dining area with a large woodstove and double doors leading out to the beautiful gardens.
The views from the home are stunning, perfect for eating 'al-fresco' and children to play. The splendour of the Comeragh Mountains can be seen in the distance. The twelve mountains are very popular with mountain climbers and hikers and offer many beautiful nature walks. The drive through the mountain range and Nire Valley passes pre-historic sites, Mothel Abbey and Mahon Falls, the biggest attraction in the area.
The famous Copper Coast is only 20 minutes away. This spectacular coastal stretch runs through 5 tiny picturesque villages: Fenor, Annestown, Boatstrand, Bunmahon, Stradbally. Great for watersports and exploring beaches and harbours. There are a few golf courses dotted around the area to give golfers plenty of choice.
The Curraghmore Estate with its castle and gardens is one of the best places to visit in South Ireland and is located only 10 minutes from the lodge. Visit the Waterford Heritage Museum, Waterford Crystal Visitors Centre, St. Declan's Oratory and Reginald's Tower. Spend the day in Waterford, Irelands oldest city where you will find plenty of history and shopping!
Comeragh View Lodge is a fantastic self-catering holiday home in a private secluded area surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. Don't worry about flights, strikes or passports, enjoy Irelands best kept secret in the Mahon Valley!
