Passage East is a peaceful charming fishing village on the East Waterford Gaultier Coast Drive.

The annual Waterford Estuary Mussel Festival is held here every September. Ferries to the Hook Peninsula and Ballyhack in County Wexford operate from here.

Passage East has close associations historically to the Normans and Henry 2nd who landed here in 1171.
