County Waterford’s busiest resort is known as Tramore. It has a 5km beach with huge sand dunes at the end. It is also famous as a surfing destination.

West of Tramore is the Copper Coast Geopark which is well worth a visit. The tourist office has detailed information on the megalithic tombs and standing stones in the region. There is a good selection of self catering accommodation available.
