The holiday home sits on an elevated site on the slopes of Sliebh Bhui a designated route of outstanding natural beauty, popular with cyclists and walkers. It is a truly peaceful location surrounded by gorgeous countryside and the sounds of nature. It is also very close to Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains National Park, one of the most popular visitor attractions in Ireland. Visit the Monastic Round Tower or travel The Wicklow Way. There are excellent angling facilities, horse-riding centres, shooting and golfing all available in the area.
Avoca, home of the TV series Ballykissangel which attracts many tourists, is only a short drive away. Visit the Avoca handweavers and the oldest working mill in Ireland. Explore the famous Meeting of the Waters, where rivers Avonmore and Avonbeg cross.
The sunny coast of Wexford is not far, if you like to explore the golden sandy beaches and the historic capital Dublin is only 90 minutes away.
