New Ross can be found 35km west of Wexford Town. It  is popular with visitors who enjoy the Dunbrody Heritage Ship, a reconstructed 1845 sailing ship used in the transport of emigrants to the US during the Famine Years. The Kennedy Homestead is also of interest and is only 8 km away, JFK visited it in 1963.
