The Beach House is an amazing holiday home located beside the beautiful Blue Flag Beach at Brittas Bay in County Wicklow.

This is an opportunity to stay in a rare architectural beauty as the house is an original Art Deco bungalow which is heritage listed.

The holiday home sleeps 8 people comfortably. It has 2 double bedrooms and the other 2 bedrooms have built in full adult size bunk beds, to add to the unique retro experience! The beds are deep and very comfortable with quality linen. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and there is a large living room with a dining area. There is a huge open fire which you will only need in the Autumn and Winter months as Brittas Bay enjoys a microclimate, which means it enjoys more sunny days than Dublin or many other parts of Ireland!

The Beach House is surrounded by fantastic mature gardens which open onto the sand dunes of Brittas Bay Beach, one of the finest beaches on the East Coast of Ireland. The bay stretches for 5km with over 3km of golden powdery sand and dunes. It is a designated area of significant interest. The local council have been vigilent in protecting the area from over development, consequently exclusivity has been retained.

There are a few pubs and grocery shops nearby. Wicklow town and Arklow town can be reached within 15 minutes. Both have good shopping and multiplex cinemas. County Wicklow is famously known as the "Garden of Ireland" because of its tremendous scenery, magnificent hills and mountains, long sandy beaches, rivers and lakes. The area is perfect for swimming, watersports, fishing, golfing and there is variety of cultural and heritage sites. There are several fine country houses and estates: Powerscourt, Avondale, Russborough, Kilmacurragh, Kilruddery and Mount Usher. Visit beautiful Glendalough, ‘the valley of the two lakes’ where St. Kevin founded a monastery in the 6th century.

The Beach House is perfect for a romantic or family holiday. Enjoy memorable walks on the beach, Summer barbeques, fireside stories and fall asleep to the sounds of the sea.
