There are 4 cottages located together, overlooking the Wicklow Hills and the Kings River as it sweeps into the stunning Blessington Lakes.
The beautiful eco-friendly cottages are finished to a very high standard and furnished in a classic country style, boasting postcard perfect views from every room. Each cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with twin beds to sleep 6 people. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. One cottage has the very high standard of VAS 3 (Validated Accessible Scheme 3) wheelchair approval and is the only fully approved cottage in County Wicklow. The cottages have a cosy lounge featuring an atmospheric log burning stove and the dining area has patio doors leading out to a beautiful garden with superb garden and lake views.
Abhainn Ri is only one hour from Dublin City and a perfect location for relaxing or exploring the famous Garden of Ireland, County Wicklow. There are so many beautiful attractions in the area including, Glendalough, Russborough House, Powerscourt House and Gardens, Avondale House, Mount Usher Gardens, and not too far away, The Kildare National Stud and Japanese Gardens. Explore the sunny East coast and walk the golden sandy beaches at Brittas Bay or play golf at Blessington Lakes Golf Club, Tulfarris Golf Resort or one of Ireland's finest golf courses, Rathsallagh Golf Club.
Blessington Lakes provide a gorgeous playground for watersports including, angling, kayaking, sailing, windsurfing as well as off-water activities such as cycling, hillwalking and mountain biking.
All our guests are welcome to enjoy 100 acres of farm treks with woodland, steams and lake shore walks, on-site fishing, play barn and picnic areas. Children will love our friendly farm animals of donkeys, ponies, Jacob sheep, cattle, pig, hens and ducks. Free range eggs and traditional Irish foods are available to order and can be delivered fresh to your cottage each day.

The cottages are situated in a Stunning location overlooking the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow mountains. It is only one hour to Dublin City Centre. Hollywood village is only a 5 minute drive and it has two traditional Irish country pubs Tutty's and The Hollywood Inn. The town of Blessington is ten minutes drive away. It is a busy country town with a good selection of shops, two large supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, chemist, take-away's,off-licence, banks. One cottage has VAS 3 (Validated Accessible Scheme 3) wheelchair approval. It is ideal for a wheelchair user or someone using a walking aid. This specially adapted cottage has a ramp to entrance, extra wide doorways, lower light fittings, downstairs master bedroom, fully equipped en suite with approved bathroom fixtures and fittings, wet room style shower with wall mounted seat.
